Nightmare Moon Sword Cane by Ebony-Lent-Lily Nightmare Moon Sword Cane by Ebony-Lent-Lily
I think this is pretty self explanatory
A Nightmare Moon themed sword cane

the cane top lights up

It's 49 inches in length
Long for a cane yes but I couldn't find a shorter sword to use
and I'm pretty tall so it works

it weighs just over 2 lbs
feels very light

unsheathed the sword balances on the silver ring between the handle and blade

the main section of the handle is made from the body of an oxy acetylene cutting torch

and there's not much else to it

In retrospect I would have chosen a different material for the cane top
the 1/4 thick stainless steel wasn't the easiest to cut
but I really wanted the diamond cut pattern around the circumference

The blade is an old ceremonial military sword I got from an antique store

This looks great. I love craft projects that are also functional.

Looks really good!
One question: How did you cut the metal?
